LabelStation Disc

Our LabelStation label printers are already fantastic and full of features! We understand that they could be a little daunting to someone using it for the first time so that’s why we, the technical support team, have developed (with the help of our technical sales) an easy-to-use installation disc to help get you up and running in minutes!
The disc is packed full of step by step tutorials, user guides and videos to help get you printing everything from basic labels to programming with the optional keyboard.
The label design software1 works on Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 (and the soon to be released Windows 10). It’s very easy to use with its office-like user interface. With it you can design almost every type of label imaginable.

LabelStation BarTender Video Tutorial of the Month

This month’s most popular video tutorial for BarTender users shows how to add prompted text to your label template.

If after viewing this video you need to refresh your memory, here is run down of the steps:

  1. Click “View” menu to see the options.
  2. Two views are available: “Template Design” & “Data Entry Form”
  3. To begin with “Data Entry Form” is empty.
  4. So we return to “Template Design” view.
  5. Double-click the border of the first text box (or barcode).
  6. Change “Sample Text” to new default text.
  7. See that the “Data Type” tab is set to text.
  8. Click the “Transforms” tab.
  9. Click the “Data Entry Control” wizard button.
  10. Click “Create”, choose “Text Input Box”, add prompt text for the user, click “OK” then “Close”.
  11. You can review your progress from the “Data Entry Form” view.
  12. When you go to print the software will prompt you to input the variable data.
