| I have a LabelDirect label or picture file which cannot be deleted or moved. What do I do? | Reboot Windows. | At some stage the unmovable file probably formed part of a link between a picture file and a label file. Windows mistakenly thinks the file is still linked and is therefore protecting it from deletion. | ||
| I am using LabelDirect. When I design a label I often get the message ‘Warning: One or more label elements extend outside the label…’ yet the label prints fine. Does this matter? | No. You can ignore this message. | Sometimes, while the frame of a label element falls outside the label boundary, the content of the element does not. This is quite acceptable. | ||
| The lid on my 342 printer will not shut. The ribbon spindles jam. | The ribbon spindles are fitted the wrong way around. The flanges should be on the right-hand side. | |||
| Why is my printer making a noise like a spring pinging back and forth while printing? | Sometimes the anti-static contact spring is unusually noisy but this causes no harm. | |||
